Responsibilities:
- Observes and assists Therapists with patient care throughout treatment program.
- Assists Therapists in use and care of machinery and equipment.
- Assists for safety purpose with transfers, transport, treatment preparation, and ambulation of patients under direct supervision of Rehabilitation Therapists (OT, PT, Speech).
- Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly working area.
- Maintains state of the art knowledge of discipline specific skills, techniques, and job-related duties and responsibilities.
- Attends continuing education courses, workshops, and seminars ae required.
**Will be working with Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists so preference is for students looking to enter these fields**
Schedule: Primarily rotating weekends and as needed during the week and over breaks/holidays. Typical shifts include weekends from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM or 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM, and weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with shifts ranging from 3 to 8 hours.
