Work Schedule:
- Rotating daylight and evening shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
- NO major holidays or overnight shifts required!
- Rotating Saturdays (12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Sundays (10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
Location Coverage:
- The Radiology (Diagnostic, X-Ray) Techs will travel to all locations up to approximately 50% of the time.
- Preference in locations will be considered as much as possible, but will ultimately depend on operational coverage needs.
- Locations: Children’s North (Wexford), Children’s South (Bridgeville), Children’s East (Monroeville), Children’s West (Moon), Children’s Express Care Cranberry (UPMC Lemieux Center), and Children’s West Mifflin.

Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers.
- Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.
- Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders.
- Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly.
- Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures.
- Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data.
- Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.
