Project Coordinator – Nurse Education

UPMC Hamot is hiring a Project Coordinator to support our Nurse Education team across Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordination, organization, and being part of initiatives that directly support clinical staff and patient care.
This role works daylight hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and plays a key part in keeping projects, programs, and system requests moving forward efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the documentation and submission of service requests to ISD and/or system vendor(s). Assist in the assignment of request priorities, and monitor and communicate the progress of the assigned requests.
- Provide first level support for department programs and initiatives. Communicate problems or complex requests to the Management.
- Maintain an understanding of UPMC health careers to support programs and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documents and materials to support effective roll out of programs and initiatives.
- Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.
- Assist with department administrative support.
- General involvement with all Human Resources aspects of the organization.
- Assist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.
- Provide support, where needed, for all events and activities.
- Participate in design, development, and implementation programs and initiatives.
