UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join the Hospitalist team at UPMC Wellsboro. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a 100% inpatient setting while working a highly desirable 7-on / 7-off night schedule that supports both clinical impact and extended time off.
UPMC Wellsboro is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a 6-bed ICU, offering a close-knit care environment with expose to both routine and higher-acuity inpatient cases.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- 7-on / 7-off
- Predictable block scheduling with extended time off
- Night shift (12 hour shifts)
- 7 PM - 7 AM

What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients during overnight shifts
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and complex medical conditions
- Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and patient assessments as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Respond to urgent clinical situations and support rapid decision-making overnight
- Document care and ensure smooth transitions for daytime care team
