University of Pittsburgh Physicians/Pittsburgh, PA seeks Musculoskeletal Radiologists (multiple openings) to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries utilizing advanced imaging equipment; interpret procedure results (exams/tests) such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and ultrasound by means of telecommunications technology; assess patient’s medical history, develop a treatment plan, and address concerns and questions that patients and their families may have; work with technicians to prep patients for various X-ray related machines and other imaging devices such as ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy. May perform minimally invasive interventions including but not limited to joint injections and biopsies. The physician may provide training to medical residents and fellows who are rounding with them, and such training will be incidental to the patient care that the physician is providing. Position requires working at multiple unanticipated hospital and medical center locations throughout the state of Pennsylvania based on patient volume and needs.
