UPMC Shadyside is seeking a flex/full-time MRI Tech Adv to join our team! Our technologists are expected to support both Shadyside Main MRI department & Hillman Cancer Center MRI department, offering daylight/evening shifts or exclusively night shifts. Weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities are required.
Final candidates will be selected for a job title within the career ladder that reflects level of education, experience, and manager discretion at the time of offer.
MRI Tech Adv Responsibilities:
- Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
- Demonstrates complete operation of specialty equipment, analyzes data promptly, and completes quality control activities.
- Assists with the training of staff and students.
- Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team.
- Promptly responds to medical editing requests.
- Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
