- Greets and assists patients upon arrival; prepares paperwork and verifies documentation.
- Answers phone calls related to scheduling, patient questions, and history collection.
- Performs MRI safety screening per established protocols and reviews documentation with the technologist.
Escorts, positions, lifts, and transfers patients as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
- Establishes IV access and assists with oral contrast preparation and patient instructions under the technologist direction.
Positions patients and imaging equipment according to protocol to ensure accurate imaging.
- Provides patient monitoring, support during exams, and discharge instructions as directed.
- Assists with quality control testing and reports equipment issues promptly.
- Transports patients, cleans, and prepares exam rooms per departmental guidelines.
