Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit
Status: Full Time (40 hours/week)/
Shift: Flexible 8-hour shifts, primarily days and evenings, with occasional nights as needed.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate or co-facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups.
Support patients with activities of daily living and accompany them to appointments or off-site activities.
Conduct 1:1 patient meetings and observations as required.
Maintain required competencies and stay current with technology and best practices in patient care.
Attend at least one unit- or institute-wide in-service annually.
Document patient care accurately in the medical record per policy.
Manage crisis situations effectively using positive approaches.
Demonstrate strong milieu management to promote a safe and therapeutic environment.
Provide clinical interventions based on patient needs.
Coordinate patient groups and activities.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and maintain ongoing communication with staff.
Complete assigned work efficiently and productivel
Salary : $18 - $27
