This full-time role includes day and evening shifts, with some holiday and weekend coverage. These roles are generalist opportunities that will support and rotate through all areas of the laboratory.
*Applicants will be placed into the appropriate job title and salary based on their individual experience and education. The Medical Lab Scientists salary starts at $29.07/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with all laboratory clients and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory and hospital policies regarding procedures, quality control, safety, and compliance.
- Accurately collect, process, and analyze specimens in an efficient manner.
- Recognize and appropriately address critical or abnormal test results in accordance with established protocols.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and methodological issues, performing minor repairs as necessary.
- Conduct routine quality control, preventive maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Manage reagent usage and maintain adequate supply inventory.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and physiological factors affecting test outcomes.
- Participate in test development, methodology evaluation, and equipment implementation.
- Independently perform High Complexity Testing as defined by regulatory standards.
- Assume temporary supervisory responsibilities as delegated.
- Facilitate the training and orientation of new employees, students, and residents.
