This position is a night shift role with every third Saturday rotation and holiday coverage. These are generalist opportunities, supporting and rotating through all areas of the laboratory.
*Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on their experience and education. Medical Lab Technician salaries start at $25.38/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Interact courteously and professionally with all laboratory customers; respond to inquiries promptly.
- Follow established laboratory and hospital policies for procedures, quality control, safety, and compliance.
- Collect, process, and evaluate specimens accurately, ensuring sample appropriateness and stability.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses with precision, efficiency, and adherence to protocols.
- Identify critical or abnormal results, investigate issues, and take corrective action per protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; perform quality checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Monitor reagent and supply usage, maintain appropriate inventory, and use resources cost-effectively.
- Maintain expertise in laboratory techniques, instruments, and factors affecting test results.
- Conduct or assist in test development, methodology evaluation, and implementation of new equipment or procedures.
Provide training, orientation, and temporary supervision for staff, students, and residents as assigned.
