Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in the LPN to RN program through UPMC St. Margaret School of Nursing, UPMC Jameson School of Nursing or UPMC Jameson School of Nursing at UPMC Hamot.
  • Eligible for the RN sign-on bonus once RN licensure is obtained.
  • Eligible for the LPN sign-on bonus based on unit eligibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care & Documentation:
    • Acts within LPN Practice guidelines, including IVs.
    • Uses Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment.
    • Formulates daily goals and care plans with patient involvement.
    • Ensures comprehensive patient documentation for effective communication.
  • General Duties:
    • Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
