Work Schedule:
- Daylight and evening hours available – we will work with your school schedule!
- One weekend (Saturday and Sunday hours) is required every 4th week.
- Weekday hours and short shifts also available!
- No on-call hours, holidays, or travel required!
The Diagnostic Radiology department is a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where Student Techs can gain valuable, hands-on trauma experience! This position is designed for Imaging students to expand their skills and ready them for the workforce – join us today!
Responsibilities:
- Complete procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist or Technologist.
- Assist with positioning and performing exams.
- May utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data.
- May perform daily equipment inspections, warm up procedures, and follow Quality Control Program under supervision of a Technologist.
- Assist Radiologist and Technologist setting up contrast.
- However, will never be responsible for loading or priming the injector.
- Follow radiation safety standards and protocols.
- Arrive patients, track exams, scan scripts, and schedule exams in the Radiology Information Systems.
