UPMC Altoona is excited to introduce the UPMC Mercy School of Nursing at Altoona, a dynamic 16-month diploma program designed to elevate the next generation of nurses in our region. As we prepare to welcome our inaugural class in Fall 2026, we’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Aid Coordinator to help shape the student experience from day one.

What You’ll Do
- Administer the financial aid program for the UPMC schools of nursing, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide personalized financial aid guidance to eligible students, including assistance with payment plans and funding options
- Maintain accurate financial aid records and stay current on evolving aid opportunities
- Collaborate with applicants, students, faculty, and staff to foster a supportive and informed environment
- Support admissions and recruitment efforts to help build a strong and diverse student body
- Contribute to special projects and school initiatives as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial aid administration within a higher education setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with occasional flexibility for evenings and weekends
