UPMC Home Health is hiring a Director of Clinical Operations. Leads, directs, and oversees the daily clinical and financial operations of the home health care agency. Provides overall management and oversight of clinical operations to ensure the delivery of quality patient care services in the most timely and cost-effective manner, that is in compliance with all regulatory agencies and agency policy and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies, and procedures.
- Perform duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization
- Participates in Process Improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of services provided
- Monitors patient satisfaction, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided
- Accountable for agency performance related to process and outcomes measures
- Manages and tracks all key Operational aspects of agency budget
- Ensures adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs, with budgeted productivity standards being met
- Provides overall support and direction to Sr. Managers, Clinical Managers and Patient Care Coordinators.
- Responsible for all aspects of patient care delivery within the clinical operations, multidisciplinary teams for home health. Facilitates patient centered care integration and timely coordination according to Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards and the policies and procedures of the home health agency.
