UPMC Cole is seeking an experienced Chef to join our Food Services team. In this role, you'll help prepare and coordinate high-quality meals for patients, visitors, staff, and catered events while ensuring exceptional food quality and service.
Schedule
- 32 hours per week
- 5:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Every other weekend required
- Some holidays required
What You'll Do
- Coordinate food preparation for patient dining, retail operations, and catered events.
- Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, portioning, and storage.
- Assist with kitchen operations, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
- Support and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and production activities.
- Help deliver outstanding service to patients, visitors, and employees.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and communicate maintenance needs.
