The Therapeutic Early Autism Program (TEAP) is a supportive work environment with a close-knit team. Lots of training and supervision are provided to all staff. Team building activities occur regularly. Daily activities with the kids are fun and engaging. Creativity is encouraged. TEAP provides compassionate ABA services that emphasize the individual needs of each child and family. Flexible start and end times each day. Opportunity for advancement and continued training and skill development for all staff.

The TEAP program is located at 2400 East Carson Street, Pittsburgh PA 15203. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The dress code is casual and kid friendly. Leased parking is available. Opportunity for supervision to pursue BCBA certification.

Responsibilities:

·       Provide individual and group treatment; complete documentation; offer patient support as needed.

·       Deliver direct behavioral health services to children and adolescents across clinic, home, school, and community settings.

·       Support youth experiencing acute or chronic crises to prevent hospitalization or more restrictive placements.

·       Use evidence‑based treatment methods, crisis/safety interventions, reinforcement strategies, emotional support, structured activities, and (when necessary) passive restraint as part of the treatment plan.

·       Work collaboratively within a trans‑disciplinary team under supervision of senior staff.

·       Develop, assess, facilitate, and monitor individualized or group treatment plans with the team.

·       Evaluate and track treatment goals based on assessments and evidence‑based practices.

·       Participate in creating, implementing, and monitoring behavioral and functional assessments.

·       Assist with data management for program evaluation; share findings with clinical team members.

·       Monitor and document daily progress notes, data collection, summaries, and graphs for assigned patients.

·       Support patient satisfaction efforts among parents, teachers, outside agencies, and children.

·       Maintain positive, professional rapport with coworkers, patients, and visitors.

·       Provide 1:1 intervention in clinical, home, school, childcare, community, or emergency settings to prevent restrictive placements.

·       Help families stabilize the child and encourage age‑appropriate behaviors.

·       Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in inter‑agency meetings when possible.

·       Assist parents, teachers, childcare workers, and other professionals with implementing behavior programs designed by BCBAs or clinicians.

·       Follow each patient’s individualized treatment plan.

·       Notify supervisor/team promptly of significant changes in client behavior or circumstances.

·       Maintain accurate, timely records of all patient interactions and meetings.

·       Protect confidentiality and interact respectfully with children, adolescents, and families.

·       Attend mandatory team meetings and staff development trainings.

·       Perform duties in alignment with organizational competencies and complete other tasks as assigned.
