What are the responsibilities and job description for the Absence Project Analyst - Hybrid position at UPMC?
UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Project Analyst to join our WorkPartners Absence Management team! The team is headquartered in downtown Pittsburgh at the U.S. Steel Tower. This position will work in a hybrid model, with a few in office days each week - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Internal WorkPartners Absence employees may be considered for this role on a fully remote basis.
Under the general direction of the collaborating Project Manager for each assigned project, the Project Analyst will provide support and accountability for project management efforts across the organization. This position will be responsible for monitoring, documenting and reporting progress and performance for defined project objectives and measures as well as for assisting in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with members of UPMC management and staff regarding assigned projects
- Assist in the development of business cases, work plans, communications, etc.
- Maintain project documents within approved archival systems.
- Generate necessary project documentation, including meeting minutes, project deliverables, etc.
- Handle project administrative duties including scheduling requirements, SharePoint requirements, etc.
- Advise supervising Project Manager and others of pending due dates.
- Identify and help resolve potential issues and/or barriers which are critical to the success of a project.
