Upland Capital Group offers completive, compensated internships for college students interested in a career in specialty insurance through our summer associate program.
Overview:
The summer associate program allows students to participate in a paid summer program with Upland and learn different aspects of both the insurance industry and the operational environment of today.
Students will participate in a 9-week program aimed at learning and training through hands-on experience, mentorship and the opportunity to network with company executives and leaders.
Opportunities are available in our underwriting department.
Criteria for Participation/Eligibility:
- College Seniors/Juniors with anticipated graduation date between May 2026-May 2027
- Majoring in insurance, risk management, business administration, data science or related field required
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Availability of participating full-time in the 9-week program with minimal absences
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing and able to travel for meetings during the work week
Disclosures:
- This program is separate from the WSIA internship
- This is a mostly remote program with some travel for meetings/networking
- This is a temporary position with full-time hours, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
- This is an hourly position paid at $22.00/hour
