Job Title: Technical Quotes Representative
Location: Grapevine, TX (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

Position Summary:
This is a professional position that requires a technical knowledge of industrial distribution products such as seals, bearings, gaskets and related components to original equipment manufacturers and MRO Customers. They will need to review customer, specifications, research sourcing options and prepare formal quotations for our customer base
Core Responsibilities:
- Review requests for quotations including specifications and data sheets.
- Acknowledging and responding to customer RFQs
- Reviewing and understanding customer’s terms and conditions associated with the requests for quotations and make appropriate clarifications
- Work with the responsible outside sales representative or Account Manager to determine the best course of action in quoting the requirements
- Assessing costs and lead times based on system/vendor information
- Generating and updating price lists
- Reviewing pricing strategies with sales and management
- Following up and dispositioning open quotes
- Maximizing potential and adoption of new quoting tool
- Estimation of manufactured products
- Coordinating and facilitating support activities with the technical Product Management / Engineering Team
Required Background:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field dealing with similar products, 2-4 years of experience in industrial sales or customer service.
- High school diploma
Skills and Abilities:
- Possesses excellent customer service skills
- Excellent Microsoft office suite skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet all deadlines
