The company partners with clients from early planning through final turnover, delivering reliable, high-performance environments across healthcare, aviation, data centers, and other technically demanding markets.Role OverviewThe Facility Solutions Manager (FSM) drives the commissioning, system verification, and operational readiness of large commercial and mission-critical projects. This role ensures that all building systemsHVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and fire/life safety are thoroughly tested, optimized, and seamlessly integrated to meet both client expectations and project performance requirements.As the primary client interface, the FSM leads coordination between contractors, engineers, trade partners, and facility teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant building operations.The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong project leadership, with the ability to translate design intent into fully functional, high-performing facilities from the very first day of operation.Core ResponsibilitiesLead commissioning management across multiple projects, ensuring operational readiness and full compliance.Review design drawings, submittals, shop drawings, and specifications for constructibility and operability.Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and execution strategies aligned to project milestones.Direct inspections, testing, and certification of MEPF systems; coordinate Level 4/5 testing.Manage issue tracking and documentation using commissioning software and visual reporting tools.Lead commissioning meetings with construction teams, trade partners, and owners to drive resolution and progress.Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, fostering technical excellence and client satisfaction.Required BackgroundMinimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction with strong focus on commissioning, building systems, and controls.Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.Proven project management skills: scheduling (P6 or MS Project), budgeting, and team leadership.Proficiency in commissioning software platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe.Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to owners and stakeholders.Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites.Experience in hospitals, airports, data centers, or other critical facilities preferred.Commissioning certifications (e.g., CxA, BCxA, NEBB, AABC) strongly preferred.Compensation & PerksCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany-paid medical, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and long-term disability insuranceOptional vision and dental insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer contributionsEmployee assistance program (EAP)Paid time off starting upon hireCell phone allowance or company-provided phoneCost-of-living adjustment (where applicable)
