The company's integrated team manages the full project lifecycle from early planning and design through construction, commissioning, and long-term facility operations ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and reliability at every stage.Role OverviewThe Commissioning Associate in Kuna, ID, will ensure that building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and fire/life safety) are commissioned, tested, and optimized for large commercial projects. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and field-based work, ensuring that systems are fully integrated and meet the client's operational needs.Core ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities for building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automationConduct thorough system testing and commissioning procedures, including verifying system performance against design specificationsUtilize AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to review and prepare schematics, system layouts, and design documentationCollaborate with project teams during construction phases to monitor installation quality and adherence to engineering standardsPerform root cause analysis on system failures or performance issues, implementing corrective actions promptlySupport manufacturing and fabrication processes related to building components and control systemsUse programming languages such as Python, C , C, and MATLAB for system automation, debugging, data analysis, and simulation tasksApply systems engineering principles to integrate various building subsystems into cohesive operational unitsConduct system design reviews ensuring compliance with industry standards like GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and electrical schematicsParticipate in maintenance planning for building systems to optimize longevity and reliabilityEngage in project scheduling activities to coordinate tasks across multiple disciplines efficientlyContribute to product development efforts by providing insights from commissioning experiencesSupport lean manufacturing practices by identifying process improvements during fabrication or installation phasesRequired BackgroundExperience: 2-5 years of commissioning experience, with a focus on MEPF systemsEducation: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or Construction ManagementSkills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and commissioning softwareExcellent communication skills (written and verbal).Highly organized and detail-orientedProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyExperience with hospitals, data centers, airports, or other critical facilities is preferredCommissioning certifications (CxA, BCxA, NEBB, AABC) are a plusAbility to travel to project sites with a valid drivers licenseCompensation & PerksCompetitive salary based on experience.Company-paid medical, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and long-term disability insuranceOptional vision and dental insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer contributionsEmployee assistance program (EAP)Paid time off starting upon hireCell phone allowance or company-provided phoneCost-of-living adjustment (where applicable)
