Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up tools, materials, and safety barriers
- Perform demolition work, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain an organized work environment
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools
- Use ladders and manlifts to preform tasks up high
- Follow safety protocols diligently and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete daily objectives efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a construction laborer or similar role in the construction industry is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, or instructions clearly
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards applicable to construction sites
- Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of power tools, hand tools, and machinery used in construction
