Our client is looking for - a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor / Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production through effective maintenance leadership.
This position is ideal for a strong lead technician ready to step into leadership or an experienced supervisor who thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians
- Plan and prioritize daily maintenance activities based on production needs
- Ensure completion of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Lead troubleshooting of equipment issues and reduce downtime
- Support production by quickly resolving mechanical failures
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
- Partner with production leadership to meet operational goals
- Drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Assist with parts inventory, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance
Qualifications:
- 7 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- 2 years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance programs
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment
- Multi-trade experience (electrical, HVAC, compressors, welding, etc.)
