Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installing electrical conduit, wire, fixtures, and equipment under supervision.
- Pull wire, terminate devices, and help with basic panel work as directed.
- Use hand and power tools safely (drills, benders, saws, meters, etc.).
- Help read and follow basic plans, schematics, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite; follow all OSHA and company safety rules.
- Load/unload materials, stage tools, and support the crew with daily job tasks.
- Communicate progress and issues to the Foreman/Journeyman and ask questions to learn.
- Participate in apprenticeship schooling/training and complete required hours/documentation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn electrical concepts.
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and show up reliably.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical labor in varying weather/site conditions.
- OSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.
