Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing installations.
- Conduct remodeling projects that involve plumbing modifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water supply, drainage systems, and HVAC components.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques and practices.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Experience in HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
