Compensation: This position is seasonal, $18.00 - $20.000 per hour depending on prior experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Greenskeeper, you’ll play a key role in the daily upkeep and overall presentation of the golf course. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being outside.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate mowers, tractors, and light equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment checks, including fluid levels and condition
- Report equipment issues or abnormalities to supervisors
- Clean and store equipment properly at the end of each shift
- Maintain greens using walking mowers
- Assist with bunker maintenance, weed eating, and backpack blowing
- Plant and maintain annuals, shrubs, and native landscaping
- Support general golf course and property maintenance projects
- Drive turf vehicles and assist with grounds construction tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience (preferred, not required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability for weekends and holidays as needed
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable & Punctual – You show up ready to work and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Team-Oriented – You work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment
- Safety-Focused – You follow procedures and look out for yourself and your team
- Strong Communicator – You listen, ask questions, and share information clearly
