Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Worker to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Conroe, Texas.
Pay Rate: $17 / hour
Hours: 6:30am - 3pm (Monday - Friday)
End Date: 3 months (Temp-to-hire intent, no guarantees)
Schedule: On-site, six 12-hour shifts (Monday through Saturday), including overtime
Role Overview:
This position requires a minimum of 1 years of production experience. The Production Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility, which is a fire-resistant environment. Responsibilities include processing barbecue grill cylinders.
Additional Requirements:
- Forklift experience is nice to have (certification will be provided if needed)
- Bilingual required (English & Spanish)
- Must have production background experience
- Must be extremely punctual; attendance and timeliness are critical
- Extensive walking, standing, crouching, and bending
- Steel-toe boots required (fire-resistant clothing will be provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Model a commitment to safety and follow all company safety procedures
- Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders
- Maintain consistent quality standards
- Load filled cylinders onto trucks for next-day shipments
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Stand and walk for 12 hours per day
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to follow processes and instructions
- Strong teamwork and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude and computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
