Overview
Up North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is currently seeking a Bilingual (English/Karen) HR Assistant. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. HR Assistants at Up North Plastics are responsible for professionally interacting with both internal and external visitors. They are also responsible for the day-to-day handling of confidential employee files, data entry, and recruiting. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
Pay Starting at $20.00
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Karen) (Karrenni, Thai and Burmese a plus)
- Read/Type in Karen
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Some experience in Human Resources is preferred
Responsibilities
- Recruit talent using internet and other resources
- Translate company documents
- Interview candidates for open positions
- Interpret in person and phone conversations with employees
- Assist in new hire onboarding
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support effectiveness of the HR department
