Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
As a 222-bed specialty care hospital, UP Health System - Marquette receives patients from across the UP and provides care in 65 specialties and subspecialties. Its medical staff of more than 200 doctors work as a team with its more than 1,800 employees in caring for approximately 9,000 inpatients and more than 350,000 outpatients per year.
UP Health System - Marquette's major services include its Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine Center, Rehabilitation Center, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management Center and Women's Health, Family Birthing, and Pediatrics Center. The hospital also provides the region's premier services in imaging, surgery and laboratory and is home to the UP-Telehealth Network, a leading telehealth network in the nation. How You'll Contribute
A Clinic CMA who excels in this role will:
- Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
- Performs administrative or clerical duties an assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
- Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification and Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required.
- Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred; 1 year of clinic experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
