Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and security hardware in accordance with safety standards and company protocols
• Conduct routine inspections of locking mechanisms and security systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
• Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components of electronic locking systems
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections
• Respond promptly to lockout situations or security breaches to restore access or secure premises
• Collaborate with security personnel to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during every task

Experience

• Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related security or maintenance role
• Familiarity with electronic locking systems and mechanical locks
• Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters confidently and accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration
• Prior experience working with electrical components is preferred but not mandatory
