Physical Therapist (Sports and Orthopedics)

Up and Running Physical Therapy
Fort Collins, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 7/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/18/2026

Fort Collins, CO | Full-Time | 4-Day Workweek Available

6 to 8 patients a day, max. 60-minute one-on-one sessions, every single time. Paid documentation time. $80,000 to $95,000 base with performance bonuses and annual raises on top.

If you became a PT because you love movement, performance, and helping people get back to doing what they love, but you refuse to treat 12 patients a day, keep reading.

What You'll Actually Experience:

Six to eight patients per day. That is the ceiling, not the goal.

Sixty-minute, true one-on-one sessions. No techs. No double-booking.

Documentation time that is built into your day and paid for.

Patients who are motivated, engaged, and grateful. Runners, lifters, climbers, and active adults who actually want to be there and actually do their homework.

We are a cash-based practice. No prior authorizations, no visit caps, no productivity quotas dictating your plan of care.

Weekly mentorship and clinical development. Freedom to build your own niche inside the practice. Flexible scheduling, including a four-day workweek option.

Fort Collins:

The trails start at your back door. We sit at the base of the Rockies with immediate access to world-class trail running, climbing, cycling, and a deep athletic community. This is a city built for people who train, and love where they live.

Who This Role Is Built For:

The clinician who:

  • Loves strength training, endurance sports, climbing, or performance culture
  • Gets energized by helping motivated runners and active adults
  • Wants 60-minute, one-on-one sessions every time
  • Is coachable and thrives on feedback
  • Believes clear communication and a confident plan of care are part of excellent treatment, not separate from it
  • Wants mentorship and real professional growth
  • Is excited to build something, not maintain a status quo

Bonus points if you run, lift, or train consistently yourself. Extra bonus if you have interest in pelvic health alongside ortho.

We hold high standards and we push each other. If you want a job where nobody asks you to grow, this won't be the right fit.

Growth Path:

We are expanding. Over the next one to three years, this role can grow into Lead PT, program developer (youth athletes, pelvic health, performance training), or a Clinic Director track. If you want upward trajectory, it exists here.

Compensation

Base salary: $84,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.

Performance bonuses on top of base. Clinicians on our team can earn up to $110,000 all-in.

From One of Our PTs:

"I've been a physical therapist for 11 years, and for the past 4 at Up and Running I've found the perfect blend of doing what I love with people I genuinely enjoy working alongside. Being part of a team that shares those same values has made this more than just a job. It is exactly where I want to be."

Joey Przybyla, PT, DPT

How to Apply:

Apply here with your resume. Don't write us a cover letter.

Instead, we'll ask you for a short video. Three to five minutes, phone camera, no editing, no production value. Answer these questions:
1) Why do you feel like Up and Running PT is a good fit for you?
2) Why do you feel like you're a good fit for Up and Running PT?
3) Where do you see yourself both personally and professionally in 5 years?

We'd rather hear you than read you. It's how we've found every good hire we've made.

We review every single one, and you'll hear back either way within a week.

Applications accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
