What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Growth Partner - Sales position at Uobo.ca?
We've built a voice AI platform that automotive dealerships are adopting and not leaving. Active deployments across NA, zero churn, and more demand than we can keep up with right now. We're looking for two or three people who want to take a never-ending list of qualified prospects, get on the phone, and close.
This is not a salary job. It's a build-your-own-territory job for someone who already knows what their phone is worth.
The Role
You'll be the first point of contact for dealer GMs, principals, fixed ops directors, and dealer-group decision-makers across North America. We supply the prospect list. We supply the demo material (with a live test line). We supply the case studies. You bring the calls, the conversations, and the close.
How the role actually breaks down depends on you:
If you're an SDR mentality closer who books demos and hands them off, the founders run the deal from there. You get paid on every signed contract you opened. If you're full-cycle and want to own it end-to-end, founders join the key calls and you take it home. We will structured to your strength.
What you're not going to do: sit in a CRM all day waiting for marketing to throw you crumbs. We're scaling because the pipeline is moving faster than we can chase.
What we're looking for
People who fit the profile:
- You've sold something hard and won. Doesn't have to be SaaS. Could be financial services, advertising, B2B services, anything where the buyer has to actually trust you.
- You can hold a 20-minute conversation with a dealer principal and not blink. You don't need to know automotive on day one, but you need to be able to talk to operators.
- You read your own calls. You know why the last deal closed and why the one before it didn't.
- You have a phone-first instinct. Email is for follow-up. Real money happens on calls.
The plus column:
- Existing relationships in dealer groups, OEM networks, dealer-services vendors (CDK, DealerSocket, dealer.com, Cox), or automotive marketing.
- Experience selling into fixed ops or service departments.
- A track record of breaking into mid-market accounts cold.
If you have those connections, your ramp is shorter and your first commission lands faster. We'll lean into that with you.
What you get
Commission (uncapped), structured to reward velocity. ACV is $35K. Realistic ramp is 5 rooftops in your first 1 to 2 months if you're good. The math is straightforward: hunt hard, hit ramp. Top performers will out earn most base plus commission roles in this category, full stop. Specific structure on the call.
A real product. We're not asking you to sell vapor. Every dealer and business who has signed has stayed, and the case studies are doing real work in the field.
Founder access. You're not a number on a leaderboard at a bloated org. Saleh and Jevin (the founders) are in the trenches with you, and you'll have direct lines to product, ops, and engineering when you need them.
A prospect list that doesn't end. Canadian and US dealers, franchise, used superstores, service groups. We are nowhere near saturating the market and you will not run out of names.
Who this is not for
- People who want a base salary while they figure things out.
- People who think "outbound" means LinkedIn DMs.
- People who need a manager to set their daily activity.
- People looking for their next title, not their next win.
How to apply
Apply here and send Saleh a note at saleh@uobo.ca with:
- The hardest deal you've ever closed and why it almost didn't happen.
- A number you're proud of, in any sales role.
- (Optional) A 60-second voice memo. We sell with our voices. Use yours.
We're looking for more than a resume. If the note lands, we'll set up a call.
