Overview
UNYTI, Inc. — a global nonprofit organization empowering communities through mentoring, advocacy, and innovation — is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead and execute our digital outreach strategy. This individual will oversee all social media channels across our network of initiatives, including the Communyti Project, Heaven’s Bounty, Clikaroo, Bee My Ride, and more.
This is a mission-driven position for someone who understands brand storytelling, digital engagement, and how to convert social media strategy into measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Create and schedule high-impact content (graphics, short videos, reels, stories, and written posts) aligned with campaign objectives.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and manage community conversations to increase brand visibility.
- Monitor social analytics and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with design, content, and outreach teams to ensure brand consistency and message cohesion across all initiatives.
- Oversee paid advertising campaigns, influencer partnerships, and promotional collaborations.
- Track social media trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes to continuously refine strategy.
- Manage and train social media interns or assistants when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in nonprofit, community, or mission-driven organizations.
- Proven success in growing online audiences and engagement.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms.
- Knowledge of community-based initiatives, social impact branding, or faith-driven marketing is a plus.
