Principal Function of the Position:
This position involves welding and material handling functions on various production parts and assemblies, as well as complying with all production, quality and safety standards.
Primary Welding Duties:
- Welds various types of sub-assemblies, component parts and finished equipment.
- Lift, maneuver, and set fixtures
Working Conditions:
- 100% indoors on concrete flooring with exposure to heat, vibration, and loud noise
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
- Hearing protection, eye protection, and steel toe shoes
Physical Demand:
- Full range of motion in arms, legs and shoulders
- Solid hand/eye coordination in order to properly assemble small components
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Standing 8-10 hours
Pre- Requisitions:
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Able to successfully complete all applicable OSHA and company sponsored trainings
This area is periodically monitored for housekeeping and safety practices. Each welder is held accountable for maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work environment that minimizes risk of accidents and violations of safety standards.Operators will wear OSHA approved safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and hearing protection as defined federal, state and company standards.
