What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician / Installer position at Untangled Llc?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Installation of AV Equipment (including speakers, TV’s, lighting control, motorized shades, networks, phone systems and more)
- A/V and networking racks set-up and buildout
- Low voltage wire management and terminations
- Understanding of AV, lighting, pool/spa, HVAC, security and networking control systems interrelation
- Substantial knowledge of networks and their set-up
- Have confidence reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints
Required Skills:
- Strong computer skills
- Basic carpentry skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to demonstrate good communication skills with customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with construction site supervisors
- A valid/current driver’s license
- Tech School or High School degree
Desired Skills:
- Experience installing any electronics related equipment (including Sonos, remotes, speakers, wiring)
- Proficiency in the safe use of hand and power tools
- Experience working on construction sites, interfacing with contractors, clients and other trades
- Up to date with smartphone apps
