Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and quickly
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure quick service delivery
- Support kitchen operations through food preparation tasks and adhering to proper food safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices
- Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables or working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
