We are seeking a motivated and experienced Concrete Pump Operator with a valid CDL B license to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating concrete pumping equipment efficiently and safely on various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth delivery of concrete to designated areas, supporting the successful completion of paving, foundation, and structural projects. Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pumping equipment with precision, ensuring accurate placement of concrete on construction sites
- Set up and inspect pump machinery before each shift, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed
- Coordinate with project managers, masons, and other trades to determine optimal placement and timing for concrete delivery
- Drive and operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks and mixers to transport materials safely across job sites
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and rebar installation tools to support overall site activities
- Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA standards, conducting safety inspections, and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Keep detailed records of daily operations, equipment maintenance, and site activities for reporting purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including concrete pumps, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pumping techniques, and finishing processes
- Familiarity with construction site procedures such as rebar installation, concrete forming, paving, and general site safety
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on construction machinery
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles in compliance with CDL B licensing requirements
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring project timelines are met
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments under various weather conditions
