Job Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with vendors to drive continuous improvement in performance, including capacity, compliance, capability, and innovation.
- Lead cost analysis and vendor negotiations to achieve margin targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate supplier cost structures in relation to capacity constraints.
- Support the execution of sourcing strategies aligned with regional strengths, production capacity, and brand objectives, ensuring optimal balance of cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Track and manage key development milestones using the Time and Action (T&A) calendar to ensure timely execution and on-time delivery of seasonal collections.
- Partner closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product feasibility, manufacturability, and alignment with seasonal timelines.
- Process Improvement & Sustainability
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve sourcing efficiency, reduce lead times, and support the company’s sustainability and responsible sourcing goals.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent years of experience working in a supply chain environment
- Four years of experience in Global Product Development / Apparel Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Apparel / Textile manufacturing, Trade Regulations, Production cycle timelines and Apparel Costing
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel
