Brief Description
The Manager of Quality and Compliance has primary responsibility for managing the corporate Quality program (sourced, international and decoration locations), the Corporate Sustainability program (Social Compliance, Labor, Environmental and Traceability), and manage field operations team for Quality and Sustainability for all of Unrivaled Teamwear. This position will work closely with Brand / Design, Sourcing, Inventory Management, Global Offices, supplier matrix; testing and monitoring entities to ensure the compliance to the established standards. This position is accountable to make sure all requirements by our licensors are followed in regards to Sustainability. They are responsible for overseeing the remediation and corrective action plans with the factories. They are responsible for overseeing the required data and ensuring all CSR deadlines for the licensors and the FLA are met.

Essential Duties
- Manage UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR Compliance team members (Quality and Sustainability for corporate and in regions teams) and provide mentoring and strategic direction.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Compliance department personnel and International support staff.
- Provide Quality Assurance guidelines and standards for all UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR products and processes that support cohesiveness throughout UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR Global Quality Organization.
- Incorporate / engineer Quality in the product development process to proactively support/prevent quality issues in our products.
- Develop/enhance/execute the UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR testing program to ensure the quality performance and compliance of our product is at or exceeds industry performance standards. Ensure UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR testing processed keep pace with any/all new UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR business/products brand introductions.
- Lead product regulatory activities for chemical compliance and product safety through monitoring, developing and implementing strategies/programs to ensure compliance with the required government regulations.
- Proactively monitor, evaluate business impact and communicate new and amended legislation and regulations.
- Build and launch a sustainability department that ensure compliance with licensors, FLA and other stakeholders specific requirements. Develop and refine internal procedures, supplier guidelines, tools, and training guides.
- Ensure UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR staff maintains consistent and value add involvement at all FLA meetings.
- Execute UNRIVALED TEAMWEAR sustainability monitoring and traceability programs.
- Manages data tracking and reporting related to social responsibility and traceability programs.
- Foster a positive working relationships with suppliers and factories to ensure their ability to adhere to sustainability goals and requirements.
- Monitor to ensure factory’s complete the annual requirements for the Higg Index FEM.
- Responsible for the preparation of the annual Fiscal Budgets for the QA and Sustainability. Responsible to operate within and not exceed the agreed upon Fiscal budget.
- Report key Quality and Sustainability information/issues to executive management and organization in a timely and accurate manner.
- Direct and communicate operational procedures and expectations with departmental staff.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in apparel manufacturing and related functions
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Compliance
- Excellent planning and communication skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment with competing priorities
- Ability to direct an international multicultural, multilanguage organization
- Intermediate experience using analytical tools, including ERP systems, packaged applications, customs applications and spreadsheets
