We’re seeking an Exec Director / Head of Growth to lead our global expansion, with a primary focus on North America. This is the person responsible for identifying and securing new revenue streams, deepening our integration within the Stagwell network and winning direct-to-brand partnerships. You are the architect of our commercial pipeline—ensuring UNR is the first-choice partner for forward-thinking brands and agencies seeking world-class creative production at the intersection of technology and craft.


This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-growth, hybrid environment—part strategic consultant, part brand-hunter, part relationship builder and part commercial architect.


ROLE OVERVIEW


The Head of Growth will serve as the primary executive driver for UNR’s revenue and brand expansion globally. You will design and execute the strategy to "mine" the Stagwell network, develop a robust roster of direct-to-brand clients and help productize UNR’s evolving offerings—from AI workflows to traditional high-end film and experiential.


This role requires a proactive, "hunt-and-gather" mindset—someone who can navigate complex holding company ecosystems while simultaneously pitching a nimble, tech-forward vision to CMOs. You are a high-level collaborator who works seamlessly with the CEO, COO, CFO and Head of Production to ensure what we sell is as "Unreasonable" as what we make.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Function Leadership

  • Define and lead the global growth strategy for UNR, identifying high-value opportunities within both the Stagwell network and the external market.
  • Serve as the key representative for UNR, articulating our value proposition to global clients, procurement departments and agency CEOs.
  • Collaborate with global UNR leadership to align commercial targets with operational capacity, ensuring sustainable and profitable scaling.
  • Partner with leadership on Marketing and PR, driving the shape of UNR’s public-facing narrative, ensuring our brand visibility attracts the right caliber of "direct" leads, pulling all the way through to in market comms and PR
  • Work in lockstep with the Head of Production NA to ensure growth initiatives are grounded in creative reality and production excellence.
  • Provide regular business reporting on pipeline health, conversion rates and revenue forecasting to the executive team (CEO/CFO/COO).
  • Oversee and mentor the current Business Development Director.


2. Stagwell Network Integration

  • Act as the primary "internal hunter," building deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders across Stagwell’s 70 agencies.
  • Educate network partners on UNR’s productised offerings, positioning the studio as an indispensable asset for their largest pitches and existing client accounts.
  • Navigate the network ecosystem to increase the frequency and volume of UNR’s involvement in integrated agency briefs.


3. Direct-to-Brand & New Business

  • Build and maintain a high-value pipeline of direct-to-brand clients outside of the Stagwell network.
  • Lead the "win" for major pitches—overseeing the process of creative chemistry, strategic approach and commercial negotiation.
  • Identify and secure "Creative Partnerships" that move beyond transactional jobs into long-term, recurring revenue relationships.


4. Commercial Innovation & Productization

  • Alongside the CEO, continuously refine and "productize" UNR’s offerings (e.g., AI/Generative production, high-volume content engines, branded content series and smart production) to make them easily buyable and scalable.
  • Partner with the CFO and COO to develop modern pricing models, rate cards and SOW frameworks that balance competitiveness with high-margin growth.
  • Anticipate market shifts to identify new revenue streams, such as entertainment IPs or emerging tech services.


WHO YOU ARE

  • A seasoned growth executive with 10–15 years in business development within creative production or agency networks (production experience preferred)
  • A "Strategic Hunter" who understands how to navigate large, complex holding company environments (Stagwell experience is a major plus).
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful; you don’t wait for the brief—you help create it.
  • A trusted advisor who can talk "craft" with a Director and "ROI" with a CFO.
  • Calm, decisive, and relentlessly solutions-oriented under the pressure of high-stakes pitching.
  • A bridge-builder who values radical collaboration over silos.
  • Ideally be well versed in Branded Entertainment / Content and Streaming Service Platforms.
  • Ideally based in New York, Detroit or Los Angeles.

Salary : $225,000 - $300,000
