Unparalleled Security is hiring Full-Time Flex Security Officers to join our growing team!

We are seeking dependable, professional, and adaptable individuals who can provide high-quality security services across a variety of locations and assignments throughout Minnesota.

As a Full-Time Flex Security Officer, you will play an essential role in supporting daily security operations by providing coverage for open shifts, employee call-offs, special events, and other staffing needs.

This position is ideal for experienced security professionals who enjoy variety in their work, can adapt quickly to changing environments, and take pride in being reliable members of a professional security team.

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full-Time Position: Opportunity for consistent employment with a growing security company.
• On-Call Schedule: Officers are scheduled to be on call five (5) days per week.
• Assignment Notice: A minimum of two (2) hours' notice will be provided for assignments when operational circumstances reasonably allow.
• Variety of Assignments: Work at different locations and gain experience in multiple security environments.
• Shift Refusal Policy: Officers may decline one (1) assigned shift per calendar month without disciplinary repercussions, provided proper notification is given.
• Fifth-Day Flexibility: Officers may decline an assignment on their fifth scheduled day if they have worked or are scheduled to work at least 36 hours during the first four days of their workweek.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional security services at assigned client locations.
• Respond to open shifts, employee call-offs, special events, and other operational coverage needs.
• Arrive at assigned locations on time, in proper uniform, and prepared for duty.
• Maintain all required equipment, certifications, and credentials.
• Perform duties including access control, foot and vehicle patrols, property monitoring, event security, and general site protection.
• Follow company policies, site-specific post orders, client expectations, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with the Operations team.
• Identify, document, and report security incidents, suspicious activity, and safety concerns.
• Adapt quickly to new assignments, locations, and operational requirements.
• Represent Unparalleled Security with professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain all required Minnesota security credentials and qualifications.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check through the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
• Ability to respond promptly to scheduling communications and assignment requests.
• Willingness to work at multiple client locations and adapt to changing schedules.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license when required for assigned duties.
• Ability to maintain required uniforms and equipment.

Previous security experience is preferred.
