Position Title: Level 3 Armed Security Guard
Location: Minneapolis, MN

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly trained and professional Level 3 Armed Security Guard to join our team. This position requires advanced security knowledge and involves carrying a firearm, responding to high-risk situations, and ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, law enforcement, or military service, and be able to maintain composure in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to safeguard clients, employees, and property.
- Conduct patrols and inspections of facilities, both on foot and by vehicle.
- Monitor surveillance systems and access control points.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with appropriate action.
- Enforce laws, regulations, and client-specific security procedures.
- De-escalate confrontations and manage high-risk or potentially violent situations.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident, arrest, and activity reports.
- Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when required.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a commanding and professional presence.
- Able to understand and articulate the correct application of use of force
Qualifications:
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- Valid state-recognized certification covering baton, OC, handcuffing and defensive tactics.
- Valid state-recognized certification covering firearms.
- Authorization and certification to carry a firearm (per state requirements).
- High school diploma or GED required; higher education or law enforcement training preferred.
- 4yrs experience in security, military, law enforcement strongly preferred.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
