Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as required for various tasks.
- Support and work with skilled tradespeople in all duties to work to get the job done. This includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site throughout the duration of the project.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed for each job.
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
