Instructor for CE 302 Mechanics of Materials with topics including stresses and strains in members subjected to tension, compression, torsion, shear and flexure; combined and principal stresses; Mohr’s circle construction; buckling; introduction to statically indeterminate members. The expected work for this class includes, but is not limited to, preparing class material; teaching in person through lectures or other teaching methods; assessing student performance through homework, quizzes, exams, or other appropriate means; holding office hours to meet with students individually or in groups outside of class; being responsive to student inquiries; and submitting timely grades at the end of the course.
