The Museum Studies Program at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a Professor of Practice in Museum Studies to begin in August 10, 2026. This is a full-time, Professor of Practice position in Museum Studies. Applicants must have a Terminal degree (Master’s, MFA, or PhD) in Museum Studies or a related field by June 30, 2026.
We seek an accomplished individual who demonstrates a commitment to interdisciplinary practice, who can offer undergraduate and graduate courses in Museum Studies, and who is prepared to take an active role in mentoring students in a Master’s program with an excellent record of preparing our graduates for careers in the museum profession.
