vigorous New Mexico. The Health Sciences Center and School of Medicine have new
leadership, and the entire institution is well poised for the future.

New Mexico is known as the Land of Enchantment for good reason. Albuquerque is a culturally rich and naturally beautiful city, with good weather year-round, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The Sandia Mountain wilderness is 20 minutes from UNM. There is a lively arts scene, and we are close to the galleries of Santa Fe and Madrid, NM. There are two national laboratories nearby: Sandia and Los Alamos.
