UNM
Neurology seeks an Epileptologist to
join the Neurology team. The position
will be part of a team of faculty in providing quality patient care in the
inpatient and outpatient setting at UNM Hospital.
Clinical
responsibilities include coverage/call on adult neurology inpatient service,
outpatient clinic in neurology or specialty clinics, and reading of inpatient
and outpatient adult electroencephalograms (EEGs). Academic responsibilities
include participation in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Research responsibilities include participating in clinical trials programs in
the department.
UNM Hospital is the tertiary care center for the State and the
only Comprehensive Stroke Center, NAEC level 4 epilepsy center, and ALS / MDA
center in the State. The UNM Neurology Department has 45 full-time and
part-time attending physicians and is home to well-established Residency and
multiple Fellowship programs.
