What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse/Clinical Research Coord position at unm?
The UNM Department of
Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Center for Psychiatric Research, is seeking
a dynamic and experienced candidate to serve as Nurse/Clinical Research
Coordinator for the research study, "Evaluation of Psilocybin As an
Adjunctive Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder in Methadone-maintained Patients
Who Continue to Use Illicit Opioids."
The successful candidate will need to use acquired knowledge and skill to carry
out and complete project activities to include:
- Working closely with the study MD and other study staff to implement the therapeutic aspects of protocol including preparatory sessions; medication administration sessions and integration sessions; and ensure that therapy provided adheres to the therapy manual.
- Performing clinical evaluations, assessments, and medical procedures as described by the protocol and MOP, includes completion of required checklists/progress notes and other source documentation.
- Attending and participating in study conference calls.
- Evaluating study participants for suicidal or homicidal risk and documenting clinical findings and decisions.
- Providing advice for decisions to exclude, refer, or withdraw study participants.
We may hire more than 1 nurse for this position. FTE is flexible but will not be more than .30.
