What are the responsibilities and job description for the Museum Gallery Attendant position at unm?
The Maxwell Museum strives to be the most welcoming museum on campus. As the first person visitors will see upon entering, being a Gallery Attendant is a job for a people person. In this position, you will:
Assist with opening and closing the museum;
Greet and assist museum visitors, including providing information on museum rules and exhibitions;
Issue parking permits to visitors;
Keep daily tally of visitors and records numbers;
Provide coverage in the museum gift shop, when needed;
Run errands to different UNM departments;
Help with upkeep and installation and deinstallation of exhibitions;
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
