We are seeking a Graphic Designer Assistant to provide design and communication support for the Utton Transboundary Resources Center’s research, policy, and public engagement initiatives. Under the direction of Center leadership and staff, the student assists in developing professional print and digital materials that communicate complex water, natural resources, and environmental policy issues to diverse audiences, including policymakers, community partners, and academic stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Design policy briefs, research reports, fact sheets, and executive summaries
- Develop infographics and visual materials that convey legal and water policy concepts
- Create event materials, presentation templates, and social media graphics
- Assist with formatting long-form documents in accordance with UNM branding standards
- Maintain organized digital design files and assets
- Incorporate feedback and meet established project deadlines
Work hours are flexible and coordinated with academic schedules.
